Natassia Gail Zolot was nominated for 2011 MTVs Music Video Awards for best new artist. While you read this your probably thinking “who the hell is that”. Most people know her by her stage name Kreayshawn. This new American rapper, editor and director, has many people talking. Shes getting both love and hate. On May 16, 2011, is when she began to receive much more attention. On this day she released her music video for “Gucci Gucci”. After generating nearly three million YouTube views in the first three weeks, Kreayshawn was quickly signed to Columbia Records. Along by her side are her “sisters” V-nasty and DJ Lil’ Debbie.

This new rapper has had many controversies in the little time she has been popular. She’s been under verbal attack from Game on his shots-at-everyone diss record “Uncle Otis.” He threatens to shove a rifle in her face if she uses the N-word again. “I’ve never said it one time in my motherfucking life,” she explains. She says it’s V-Nasty, her “sister” and partner in White Girl Mob, DJ Lil Debbie who uses the word. Another problem she has gotten herself into is by calling Rick Ross “fake” in one of her freestyles, and also teasing him for his weight, and saying he cannot rap. She then says that it was a "misunderstanding". The night of the VMAs while Kreayshawn was at the awards her twitter account was hacked. These hackers leaked nude photos of Kreayshawn which she claimed were taken when she was underage.Shortly after the incident she posted the following on her Tumblr account: "All I wanted to do is create and have a good time. But, this is quickly forming into something I never would have signed up for from being accused of being racist to getting my pre-teen nudes leaked everywhere. I feel like this shit ain’t my cup of tea. Someone else want my job right about now? Im just gotta sip lean and disappear. THIS GAME IS FAKE AS ALL HELL!"
